My sis invited herself over to bake chocolate oatmeal cookies today. So excited I was, at her promise, that I rushed back from work and met her at 1pm to shop for ingredients. We had to substitute some of them as the superstore, 'Dwarf', did not carry some of the most important ingredients!

Stickman was awake by the time we got home. He was editing the wedding photos. I am constantly amazed how he doesn't get business from glamourous brides. It's hard to do up a nice portfolio when the eyesores are uncontrollable factors. Currently though, the groom was the bigger eyesore. Has he never learnt how to smile? It's a great insult to your wife to look so sulky on your BIG DAY!

Well, back to the subject of cookies! Unfortunately, my kitchen is ill-equipped to deal with such a big task as cookie-baking. No electric mixer or weighing scale! After much estimation and manual whacking, a mixture of sorts was formed. It was rushed into the oven, but the sweet aroma soon turned into toxic smoke. Perhaps we shouldn't have substituted oatmeal for cereal.

The moody aftermath was saved by a quick manicure session. As I fell asleep on the couch, my sister expertly laid wonderful patterns on my 10 pearly finger-shells. Not long after, Stickman and I rushed out for our spiritual studies. It really does not seem like a Tuesday at all.
