What would you do if you met your ex again after 8 long years?

Today, I found myself sitting next to my ex in the mrt, and I didn't know it until I moved away to another seat. Someone sat between us. Then he fell asleep and started nodding. So I started observing him. What was he doing now? Why was he dressed so casually? He seemed thinner and less handsome. He has a funky haircut.

Anyway, it was a strange feeling and for a brief moment, I wondered how I'd react if he wakes up and says, "Hi!"

He woke up. And sullenly put his head between his hands. It was at that point that I realised we wouldn't make contact. It's been 8 years ago. So I'm glad to just let sleeping dogs lie.
