This is a silly variation of Xmas gift exchange my colleagues and I had today. My team, comprising jaded seniors (myself and a few other guys + our Sadako manager) and caffeine-infused newbies, took turns drawing our beneficiaries' names and also the category of gifts we are supposed to get.

Then I took them to Carrefour and unleashed the whole bunch there. Budget was $10 and we were to gather in 45min to present our gifts to each other.

The results were good. Mad chases, stupid gifts, dodging and hiding from the person we were supposed to buy a gift for, bad taste in gifts (esp the guys...)

On hindsight, I could have made the categories more fun - but I didn't want to risk getting a $9.90 bra from any of them.
