Today, an old JC classmate of mine and her husband visited us at home. We cooked a light lunch for them and had a long talk about their traditional wedding - which will take place this July. She asked me to be either a coordinator or emcee. I am glad, since Stickman'll be taking the event and I'll be bored out of my mind if I just sat by myself. But I'm not really experienced in coordinating. Hmmph... something new.

Anyway, I'm back from a cruise with my peas recently. Here're some pics of my virgin cruise on the Virgo.

Everything's efficiently run. You get a card on check-in, and it becomes your room card/credit card over the entire duration on board. After the cruise, it becomes your souvenir.

My parents had no vices so gambling and mahjong were out. They were just contented to stare into the horizon. We feasted to pass time - though the quality of food was below my expectation. The chinese food was especially bland.

Stickman & I played the slot machines in the casino. Gambling is addictive. When I won, I felt the urge to continue gambling. I stopped through sheer will :-) . We won $8 overall and spent it on a tiny souvenir.

My dad finally suggested a drink on the final night. There was a filipino band crooning sentimental hits till 2am. Had a Lamborghini. Mom ordered some drink called 'Black Rainbow', which I ended up drinking for her. I was fine till the next afternoon - had a splitache that pounded my head and wouldn't leave till 3 panadols later. I do not really like alcohol but it gives me a kick thinking that I'm drinking something 'undrinkable' (like crude oil-but I know crude oil will definitely taste bad and kill me). It's linked to the same reason why I like the smell of fresh paint and nail polish. And probably accounts for 99% of why I am so forgetful.

The dance lounge had a machine where you could look at radar charts of the ship. The bright, heart-shaped spot marks our position.

Had to give the jacuzzi a miss. I was sleeping when I was not eating. I also didn't have a bikini and all the pool babes were wearing some form of a bikini. I had an old sporty swimming costume that covered everything, so it wasn't much of a motivation to go for a dip.

My next cruise will probably be on Superstar Libra - the newest addition to the Superstar fleet. Step aside, Virgo!
