Yeah, got my salary! Should cover last month's big bills and also N's wedding in March. CS informed me that she has decided to move into motivational product sales. She seemed to be really inspired by her new work environment and I wished her the best. I hope she knows what she's getting into as this decision is very sudden.

Have decided to stop using the acoustic guitar for a while because of the pain in my fingers. In the afternoon, I stopped by Bras Basah to get some guitar strings to fix up my old classical guitar at home. It's now 1.30am and the guitar's still where I left it this morning. Came back really late after TKM's funeral service. We had to help pack up. It was a wonderfully peaceful service but many of us teared when we saw her mother's grief. Who'd want to outlive their child?

Have been paying visits to L in SGH. Intend to visit her regularly to encourage her and also to accompany her in the lonely afternoons. She seemed more frail today, but she maintains it's because she's bored. Once her blood count's up, she'll be discharged for a couple of days before heading back to receive another cycle of chemo.We both agreed that the chances of recovery are high at her age. She showed me the purple head scarf and tells me she's prepared for her hair to drop in the subsequent months. Mostly, we chatted about the holidays we've been to and where she'd like to go next. When I left her, I had a strange feeling that my world seemed to be back in proper perspective.
